I recently purchased your book The Good Italian Girl and I just wanted to say THANK YOU. I’m part way through and although I’m a child born in the 80’s, I identify with so much of what you have shared - as I read each chapter I feel so close to my heritage and so well understood! It’s like you are writing from my life experience to some extent! Your book is a gift. I can’t wait to read it all and I truly think it is allowing me to re-define who I am and find what is really important, whilst embracing my wonderfully influential Italian heritage.
I also can’t stop telling people about this “amazing book I’m reading”, and how it’s like an insight to everything we have been through and feel.
